Wintergardens

My parents probably didn't know that the name they gave me actually means winter in some languages. Maybe it was a sign, and the reason why winter & its elements are today one of my "jardins secrets" from which I get my energy... or maybe this passion is simply due to the beauty of frozen water ;-) In any case, snow & mountains have brought me from one place to the other, far from home. With "Wintergardens" I hope that I can share some moments of my life with family & friends - wherever you are!

Updates from the last month...

It's been a long time since I last wrote... been busy, busy, busy! After my holidays mid-April, that I spent mountainbiking in the nice summer weather (sunshine & 25-30 degrees Celsius), time has been flying by.
April/May timeframe is rather tough in France - we have so many bank holidays that there's hardly any time left for work ;-))

Below are some shots from the last month in the mountains around Grenoble:

Via ferrata at the "Bastille" of Grenoble. It's great to have a place like this 10 minutes from home...

Momo is looking down on Grenoble from the crest above Herbeys. After the effort biking up here, we now have the pleasure of the downhill part back to town :)

A day of biking by myself in the Vercors - one of the 3 massifs surrounding Grenoble - I discover the beautiful trails between Grenoble and St Nizier de Moucherotte!

    Hey there!
Hmm, more or less... I have borrowed a fork until mine gets fixed, and I wish I could borrow a pair knees too ;-))
But, I'm definitely in for some mountainbiking one of these days!

    Ciao ;)
