Semlor i massor - traditions I like

One of the best things about living abroad is that you actually can choose which traditions you want to keep alive... And the following one is definitely one I like:

Semla, laskiaispulla, fastlagsbulle... the name is different if you are in Sweden, Finland or on the Åland Islands - but the taste is still the same! I am talking about the sweet little wheat bun filled with almonds & whipped creme, that you traditionally eat in the Nordic countries on "mardi gras".

Hence, a week ago it was time to bake again so that I could make some of my friends try the semlor - and so that I would not miss one of my favorite traditions ;-)
